I am very excited to be part of the Sustaina Center team. I love teaching people and helping them become better able to make informed decisions in their healthcare. My personal practice belief centers around the idea that nurses must function as their patient's advocate. I think that working to prevent potential health related problems through wellness teaching is the best way to advocate for patients because it allows them to take control of their health and "sustain" themselves.

I have lived in Colorado my entire life, mostly in the Lakewood area. I love being close to the mountains and running outside to take in the beautiful scenery. I enjoy keeping my salt water aquarium and the company of my three furry rats Pumpkin, Spooky and Ratatouille. I am hoping to add a four legged running partner in the future.
